Yes, you should wash your face, you should wash off your makeup, but should it be morning and night?
See I have acne prone skin and the told me to wash my face morning and night. And that didn't help. My face got even more screwy and I reduced it to washing at night and my skin looked better. What do you think? Is two times a day over washing or the right thing to do?

I noticed the same thing, that when I only cleanse my face at night (or after sports and running) then my face was clearer and glowy. I think its definitely a circumstantial and it can work for some but not everyone because not everyone's skin reacts the same way!

Make sure you use a gentle cleanser in the morning!
Sometimes I don't even use my cleaning device in the mornings, You can also rinse off your face with a bit of water since the whole concept is rather to re introduce water to your skin.

What kitty said. I use a gentle cleanser in the morning and at night I use an exfoliating cleanser.

At night I use my Clarisonic with an acne cleanser (currently using Philosophy). But in the morning I just wash my face with CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser. Too much acne cleanser can be bad for the skin causing more breakouts because of too much product, but washing your face in the morning needs to be done. Think about your hair, bacteria from pillowcase, etc. ends up getting into your pores.

I do exactly what Lisa S does. I use my Clarisonic at night with the tea tree Facial wash, and in the morning just wash my face with the formula 10.0.06 foaming cleanser.

I personally like to wash my face morning and night. For morning time I use cerave hydrating cleanser and in the evening I use clean and clear deep cleansing cream wash. If I'm wearing makeup I will use liz earle cleanse and polish to take it off then wash with cerave. But its up to you whatever works best for you do it :)

Actually my beautician said I should only use Clarisonic at night. Is it true?

Like Lisa S. said, using your harsh cleansers/cleansing tools in the morning sometimes do more damage to your skin than good, but you should still always wash your face in the mornings with a gentle cleanser because of the dirt that builds up overnight. :)
And Jaslyn G., sometimes using your clarisonic twice a day can be too much for your skin. I only use mine at night, but you should still wash your face in the morning with a gentle cleanser, even if you don't use your clarisonic :)

@Jaslyn, I will use my Clarisonic in the morning and night when my skin is acting up; but I still use a gentle cleanser in am and acne pm. But like I said, I only do that when my skin is bad which isn't often.

I use a Cleansing oil in the morning. Its light-feeling, gentle and easy to rinse off.
