I have been exfoliating more which I find is good for the health and look of my skin but I over did it. My skin looks fine until I apply foundation and then you see all these texture lines. Please help me with how to heel this! I have been moisturizing with my yes to carrots tomato balancing moisturizer and my Avalon vitamin c cream, plus LOREAL youth code serum underneath. How can I heal my skin?!

How much were you exfoliating? You should never do it more than twice a week.
Just don't do it for a while and start using a gentle cleaner. Give your skin time to heal

OH NO!! Oh gosh, no don't do that!! That is not only a super harsh scrub but you should never exfoliate everyday!! Whenever something says gentle enough for everyday they are lying!! And with one that harsh you never want to use it more than once a week maximum! Find a new cleaner ASAP!

Give your skin some time to breathe. Maybe don't wear makeup for a few days? Also I think that scrub is way to harsh to any skin type.

Listen to Jacqlyn. She is really good at answering skincare questions because she has had a lot of experience with many things. It seems like she is also really good at doing research. Always turn to here for skincare advice on here.

Yes I've noticed she comments on a lot of posts with great advice! And okay.. So do you guys have any other really deep exfoliates that aren't so damaging??

Ah are there any drugstore ones? I was prescribed tretinoin 0.5 but that irritated my skin like crazy only using it once a week even over a coarse of two months :(

Just to add- a CC cream might be better for you since you want red skin coverage. AS you said Taiya leave the skin to heal for a while.
