I work at beauty brands and we sell a brand Nioxin and Bosley. Both work very well so I've heard from customers. Both for women and men. But I'm sure you can use rogaine in your hair too.

Yes, all of those will regrow thinning hair under certain conditions (meaning if the follicle isn't permanently damaged and the loss isn't from a health condition).
However, you need to figure out the cause of the hair loss/thinning before using any kind of treatment. Many health issues, from simple deficiency to complicated chronic illness, cause hair loss as a symptom. See your physician to be safe.
