I always flip my hair and spray hair spray at the roots & tease it before lol. Sounds crazy but it works for me!

Got2B makes a good hair powder. You apply it directly...in sections to your roots then rub your fingertips on your scalp back and forth lightly to give lift and fullness. When you want to revive fallen locks, simply fluff up again. I'd follow up with a light, flexible hairspray.

I use a volumizing mousse and use a round brush, then very lightly hairspray it to get my volume to last for more than one day!

Blow dry your hair upside down. It does wonders. With a volumizer. I've found they are all pretty comparable, but the Garnier one is the one I normally use as its a great price.
