White after Labor Day?

Hey girlies, remember the old saying "you shouldn't wear white after Labor Day"? Well I wanted to wear my white jeans today but remembered its after Labor Day... Should I wear them anyway? I've never really given this much though because I never really cared but I was wondering what you girls think??

I'm wearing a beautiful flowy white shirt today, and no qualms about it. Then again, it is 70? and sunny. I think the rule is kinda implying that white is a summer color, definitely not a winter. So imo, if it's sunny and nice out, rock the blanca!

I think white looks great all year. That rule is outdated for sure. I can't wear white because I will look like a ghost (not enough contrast with my skin haha), but everyone else should rock it!

I use to follow this rule but not anymore! White looks super cute in the fall & winter. And if you look around you'll see white staying in some stores now instead of being clearanced out after Labor Day.
