It depends on the kind of job. This is basic advice. if it's a job in fashion or design, it's going to be different.
Dress professional. A pencil skirt, a nice blouse, no boobage showing. I'd skip the heels and go for flats. For makeup, stay on the neutral side, if you can get away with it, only wear mascara and lipgloss but you could do anything as long as it's not too creative or crazy. I like that $%&# but some may not, so be cautious. Also, do you have a description of who they're looking for? that can help too. if they need creative types, go crazy!

I would not go for jeans, not every employer approves of them. Maybe slacks? The rest sounds great :)

I would only wear jeans if the employer specifically said to wear what you would while working, if there's not a uniform. This is what I did for Urban Outfitters and it felt strange, so I still dressed nicely. All the other interviews I've done I wore a modest dress with a blazer.

I think jeans sound fine if you're just going to apply & it's not an interview. I think the outfit you described would be fine, honestly :)

Oh yeah! Kat, I think you're right now that I think of it.

I currently work as a waitress and see people coming in to apply a lot. Don't wear jeans. I would wear nice slacks and a nice top and either flats or heels would be fine 😃 most of the time when ppl come in wearing jeans or shorts the applications end up in the trash or at the bottom of the stack. Just some friendly advice. Good Luck in your job search 😃😃

I agree with Lacey. I also work as a waitress, and like she said, when somebody comes in to apply for a job and they're wearing jeans, we put their resumes straight into the trash. First impressions are important :)
Good luck lovely 😚
