Do not razor the hairs! You'll be left with little dark bumps

Use ice to numb the area

I have not tried the razor but if you wait to pluck them until after you get done with a hot shower then it doesn't hurt as much because it opens up your capillaries and softens your skin making it less irritated when you pluck.

I've heard it's not good to shave your eyebrows what I do is before and after plucking I use thayers rose witch hazel (you can get it at any health food store) or aloe Vera it's soothing and eases the pain.

NO! What you do is I wash my face and then put a warm throw towel ( make sure is damp) and rest it on my eyebrows for a few minutes, then pluck. If your eyebrows pores are open, it hurts less to pluck them. Hence the warm damp towel.

I use an eyebrow razor and no bumps here but the more you pluck the less painful it is and it lasts longer than razoring :)

Ice actually closes the pores. Exposing the skin to steam or a warm rag will soften up the pores and allow for easier hair removal. Be sure to use a sharp pair of tweezers and not catch the skin. Always pull in the direction the hair is growing which will minimize the struggle and pain. It does get easier and easier the more you do it though.

It's always going to sting a little.. there's really no escaping it :c like they say, beauty is pain, lolol!
it's best to do it after hot showers because it opens up the pores & hair follicles. with the hair follicles open, it's generally less painful than just walking up to the mirror & plucking away :p
hope I could help! xx

I put lotion on the areas I'm going to pluck, it really makes it a lot less painful.

Put lotion on it a few minutes before you pluck. Or oil.

A tip from Kevyn Aucoin I've been using is to apply toothache medicine to the area to numb the skin. Works better than an ice cube.
