Lisa I'm in the same boat!! Shea butter has been my savior. For my feet especially...Julep Mint Condition Pedi Cream followed by a thick application of coconut oil and then I pull on thick socks before bed. Sometimes I even sleep with gloves on my hands using the same stuff for my feet. I dread menopause. lol.

I second the Shea butter! I've been mixing coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, Shea butter, coco butter, calendula, lavender, tea tree oil and bees wax. makes a thick butter cream and works awesome! I've been so dry this winter that I have even applied it to my hair and face as a hydrating mask! I'm sure there is something out there like this.. only thing is, it is greasy. it is best at night with socks and gloves as Shelley said. Hope you find something that works for you! dry anything sucks and this winter is brutal!

I like to scrub both my hands and feet with Julep Glycolic Hands Scrub and follow with their Rockstar hands cream.

I have exactly the same problem. Crabtree and Evelyn creams help me a lot.

Thank you SO much everyone!! Ill get right on trying thing. Shushoni.. I don't mind greasy @ all! I'd welcome greasy as compared to this ashy mess my skin is in!! That cocktail of oils you've came up with sounds like a sweet dream but dag girl.. I'd think all that's pretty pricey all purchased separate like that!! Lol.. Shelley, I totally forgot about the mana from heaven..shea butter! I think Ill pick up some of that & try it first since I know it works for me (or @ least used too! Lol..) & I can't even imagine menopause!! I think I'm starting the pre-menopause now :-( I've got the air conditioner on in the bedroom & the heat cut off to that room. Been going that the last two winters now & its not like I'm in L.A. or something..border of Ohio & WV! So yeah, probably safe to say I'm starting to go through the trenches! Not to mention all the other crazy miserable crap! Hair loss (thank God I have plenty to spare!!) weight gain for no apparent reason, acne occasionally & so on! YUCK!! Lol.. & Mary.. my hubby"s feet are hooves also & we do pedis on him too so I think Ill get this for his feet & knock out two reviews of what's going to work! Genius!! Thank all of you soooo much for helping!! Have a wonderful Monday everyone <3

I think I need to check out some of these things myself. I will be 35 this year and feel like I am going through the same things. I live in Colorado. In the winter my skin is so dry it hurts. No matter how much lotion I use it's never enough. No matter how much water I drink it's never enough. I drink enough to be in the restroom most if the day. Lol. Sorry- probably TMI there. Anyway. Lisa you are scaring me with the menopause thing. I've noticed a few of the things you mentioned. When does pre-menopause start?...
