I got tired of not getting results from home remedies and over the counter fix creams, so I went to the dermatologist and got obagi.

I've been using Mary Kay's microdermabrasion kit, it's lighten my scars and I've only used it once! I also use Clinique's dark spot corrector.
This is what I'm using to repair my damaged skin from the cystic acne I once had. You can use primers & color correctors but most of them just hide the problem instead of fix it. I don't wanna have to hide my scars, I WANT THEM GONE! But since I can't make them magically disappear overnight I use Loréal magic anti-redness correcting primer then I use Clinique super primer, it corrects discoloration. It hides everything pretty well, & it makes me happy knowing the dark spot corrector is under my makeup helping my complexion.

Listen to Traci, she speaks the truth! I started using a drugstore AHA by alpha hydrox and my skin has never been better. My skin's texture is smooth now and my sun spots are fading.

My dermatologist told me to use fresh squeezed lemon juice with sugar (make a paste / scrub) and use everyday on affected area. He also told me to put sunblock on the dark patches under my makeup - so far so good 😃
