So I have had acne starting since July 2013 and it seems it's only getting worse. I know it's partially because of hormones (I'm 14), but I want to get rid of it. I feel like I have to coat my face and makeup just to feel comfortable leaving my house. I have very sensitive skin and eczema caused by allergies, so I can't use anything too harsh which limits my options unless I want to have a dry peeling face. I have already gone to a dermatologist and what he prescribed for my skin didn't help at all, after I would put it on my face I would of course moisturize and I would have chunks of dry skin coming off my face and the moisturizer would become very sticky and thick and I have no clue why. And of course all of this made it difficult to do my makeup, but I still used it for 3 months until it ran out and I saw no improvement, my skin just seemed to get worse. So what I am asking is what should I use that won't damage my skin?

I would invest in a foundation that is for sensitive acne prone skin and that also natural ingredients and like no harsh chemicals
I've heard great things about the cover fx natural finish oil free foundation
and also the cover fx primer has sacylic acid

Also you have remember the only way for your skin to get better is for your skin to breathe
a great product that helped me get rid of a lot of my acne is the st ives blemish and blackhead control apricot scrub,

Ask for epiduo, its like a lotion that has 2% benzoyl peroxide and like other acne fighting medicine.

I agree with Olga, you should use a lotion or moisturizer that also fights acne. I also recommend the origins rice scrub. It is not harsh at all, but it is moisturizing and still gets rid of dead skin.

Hi Brianna! I'm so sorry to hear that you are struggling with acne, I did too! I hated it so much, and I wish I knew then how to gently clear it.
Rub lemon juice on your face let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes. Then put a thin layer of real honey on your skin for 10 to 20 minutes, then wash with a gentle cleanser. The lemon is most important and fast, so you can do it each day. You can do the honey less if you don't have time. Even if you can only do each of these things for five minutes each day before you wash your face on the morning, you will really see a big difference! The lemon helps to dry out the pimples and fade any discoloration from them. Honey also moisturizes, keeps oil bay and it has natural antibacterial properties that kill those little red monsters! Fast, cheap and all natural cures that I wish I knew about years ago! Good luck!!:D Remember you are lovely no matter what.
