I just wanted to ask what everyone thinks is a necessary product for all around beauty. Products could include highlighters, palettes, brushes, foundation, etc.

Mascara is a definite. If you use foundation I definitely suggest lightly filling in eye brows or a highlighter. I've taken pictures with my eye brows not filled in and let me tell you it looks like you have none! Lol.

I agree with kitty definitely mascara and concealer. Blush and foundations are just for additions to complete a look and brushes are must haves too!

I'd say brow products is the only thing that you really "need." If I oversleep and have five minutes to dedicate to makeup, I do my brows. It really changes the way you look.

A good eyeliner that can also double up as a brow product. A good lip/cheek stain. Concealer! And definitely a mascara that you can build up if need be. :)

My Nivea Creme moisturiser (blue pot), Nivea essential lipbalm (blue stick) and Rimmel London 100% Waterproof mascara are total necessities to me. I won't leave the house without putting these on:)

"Necessary Products"...does that mean only the basics? Because if it is, then I would one product for each feature.
1. Brow Product
2. Mascara
3. Blush
4. Lipstick or gloss.
If you have an even skintone, you don't need anything more. But if you're like the rest of us you may want to add a concealer, tinted moisterizer or foundation.

Concealer and mascara- to even skin and open eyes, if it's a clear mascara it doubles as brow gel.
Those aren't my necessities but it's what is reccommend every one to have lol
