Besides which, I don't appreciate the fact that you said that because I will drop something if it's in style (yes, that was my comment) is stupid. That was rude and unnecessary. But that's okay. I'm not pretentious or a hipster. I just like being different.

That comment wasn't directed to you I never read any other comments I just commented my opinion.. I just think that people try so hard to be different that they're now making sacrifices. It goes both ways. But that's why I said as long as you're not following a trend JUST because it's a trend then doing something trendy isn't bad.

But at the same time, I'll sacrifice things that I don't care about. Like yeah, sure, I like my combat boots. But I honestly lose my desire to wear them if I see a million other people wear them as well. That's just me, I find trends extremely off putting.

I don't really care about trends. If I like something, I like it. If I don't then I won't wear the trendy piece. I'm usually completely oblivious as to what's hip with the kids these days *insert cane shake and yelling at kids to get off my lawn here*. It's kind of funny, I'm usually wearing things that are trendy months before they actually become popular. Like I dyed my hair purple and a few months later I saw purple hair EVERYWHERE. And a while ago (I'm talking middle school days) my friend, Becca, dyed her hair red and ever since I've been seeing girls with red hair everywhere! As Lady Gaga once said (well, sang), "DO WHAT YOU WANT, WANT YOU WANT WITH (your) BODY". :)

I hate trends honestly I love my oxfords but my friends used to hate them and call them "grandma shoes" but it kind of seems as though they're starting to become more popular only because they make them "cute" covered in sparkles or what not because its taking away from what oxfords should really be like and now that they're more on trend those same friends now own some of those oxfords in sparkles or whatever Trends take away from people's personal taste in clothes and its like one thing they could've never pictured themselves wearing they now wear just because its a trend.

I don't follow trends, but I don't hate them. I just think, wear whatever you feel comfortable in, even if it means to wear the same as everyone else. I would never just stop wearing something I like, just because it became 'trendy'. personally I feel as if that is really rather shallow (not meaning to offend anyone! just my opinion)
although I do agree that trend tattoos are a stupid idea.

I also don't really agree with going out of the way to avoid trends and make a special effort to specifically not wear or use anything that is part of a trend , whatever you wear or anything really. honestly, I think its not going to make anyone less of a beautiful person if they follow trends.
