I wish mine was like that! ^ Mine is huge, with girls who wear almost the same exact things in different colors. And try all have super straight hair with one side twisted back. Eeeeppp!

Oh god, last comments! First of all, that's terrible.^ second of all, you know what I absolutely hate more than any other trend ever? The tattoo trends. I LOATHE them. They must die. The girls who want dreamcatchers/feathers/birds/feathers turning into birds/infinity signs with or without crap written in them...that needs to STOP. It's like people don't realize that tattoos are permanent, and the one form of self expression where trends really have absolutely no place.

I understand them if they have a serious significance to you BUT WHY WOULD YOU GET IT IF IT HAS NO MEANING TO YOU? I completely agree Hannah. Trend tattoos are the worst. They are going to be there forever, you are going to wonder why you decided to have an infinity sign with your ex boyfriends name on it. Please stop using trend tattoos , they're seriously one of my most disliked things ever.

I'm so glad we're in agreement on that...utter nonsense. There's no reason to get matching infinity tattoos with your BFF if they have absolutely no significance. As someone with a tattoo, it's horrible and offensive that people assume without looking at it (it's on my back) that it's one of those things just because I'm a twenty year old female.

OHMYGOD. Laney, I LIVE for nirvana, okay maybe not live but I love them. I only wear band tees of the bands I listen too, I only own two right now though, but I want a ton more. I hate it when people wear a band shirt but don't listen to the band!

And Hannah, I understand! I would never get a tattoo that didn't mean the world (or have a huge significance ) to me! Like maybe I'll get "I love you " In my moms handwriting! And I plan on several other tattoos, but I have four years till I can get one! I defiantly have spent a lot of time thinking about them too! I'm not a big fan of any of the tattoos that are considered trendy anyways. Although I do like the nautical themed ones, not the "don't let me sink" anchors , but other ones, like the big thigh pieces with octopus and ships and stuff look fantastic!

Oh girl don't get me started on tattoos, I'm obsessed! I got mine last december after being utterly devoted to it since I was 15. I already want at least 5 more (and my mom's handwriting or initials is one of them!) and I live my life to watch Ink Master and Best ink. I'd love to be able to get a crazy back piece or something on my forearm, but my mom would disown me haha (I have a whole other problem with the "I refuse to sink" anchors...seriously?? Anchors. Sink. People are stupid sometimes).

Okay okay, can't get started on tattoos right now! But I do want a compass rose because I've had a weird obsession with traveling and compasses since I was like six!

Traveling isn't weird, I've got wanderlust bad. I totally understand. And if you ever wanna actually talk tattoos just let me know :)

I don't even know what's trending until I see too many people wearing the same stuff, and I kinda avoid trends!
I mean, if I buy now a crop top with some high shorts maybe in 6 months they're going to be out of style, so I just buy what I like and wear it when I want (I'm such a rebel jajaja)

I wear hair flowers in winter!! Lol so I'm totally with you! If you like something don't stop using it cause it's out if the trend!

And I personally think everybody had their own style so they should rock that! Trends are pretty stupid to me.

Hannah, Tattoo talk sounds awesome!

And I feel you Ana! I usually see a lot of it at school, or around! And agreed Sara!

I feel like trends are a great way to get to know things! I would have never tried ombré for example if it never came in style and I never would have known about it! So I don't think trends are a bad thing, there's so many people out there that think mainstream things and following trends are bad but it's honestly not. If you genuinely like the trend then who cares! As long as you're not sacrificing your individuality and own personality for it.

Dropping something because it's in style is so stupid, if you like it go for it no need to be a pretentious hipster about it. As long as you're not following all trends just because it's a trend than you're still being yourself.

Hannah K.
But honestly that's the point that I personally am making: too many people sacrifice their individuality and uniqueness for the sake of trends. That is why I have a problem with trends, not because they're different or ugly or weird, but because people do them because everyone else is and not because they want to. There is a difference between doing something because it's popular and seeing something popular that you happen to like and therefore you do it. Does that make sense?
