I really want to perfect my 5 minute makeup routine because it literally takes me 20 minutes in the morning to do my makeup. And I feel like I don't wear a ton of makeup, but I was wondering what your opinion of appropriate 8th grade makeup. I was thinking liquid eyeliner, concealer, and mascara. Right now I use BB cream, concealer, about three different mascaras, I tight line with black, and usually wear bronzer and when I'm feeling fancy some eyeshadow or I'll replace tight lining with liquid eyeliner. I feel like it's a ton, well because it is, but it doesn't look like a lot when you put it on. Anyway, what is, in your opinion, appropriate 8th grade makeup?

I wore a sheer white eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara in 8th grade, didn't even know what foundation was until 10th grade lol. It doesn't sound like a lot except for the 3 mascaras. Have you tried curling your lashes and just using one? Find a really good one that you like.

I'm in 10th grade, but in 8th I wore about the same amount as you. I think you wear an appropriate amount. :) I understand using more than one mascara, I think mascara is what I spend the most time on in my daily routine.

Last year in 8th grade, I just wore mascara and a little concealer, with a little shadow or liner every once in a while.

Wear what you like and what you have time to wear. I used to wear bright red eyeshadow but oh well.

I am now in the 11th grade.. I don't I think I wore any makeup at all in middle school Lol maybe because I barely knew nothing about makeup back than. but maybe try bb cream and mascara, or instead of the BB creme find a long lasting powder

In 8th grade I was not allowed to wear make up time has changed for sure. I would suggest a little mascara and lip gloss that's it. you should enjoy your youth and make up can make anyone look mature.

I started having break outs in 8th grade:( so I used a concealer and powder foundation. Which I applied terrible since I was clueless. I would say BB cream, and if you need more use a concealer. Curl your eye lashes and tightlining doesn't hurt because you can't really see it anyway. Yet it does make a difference. Mascara is up to you. I was only wearing one but now I change it up. BB cream shouldn't really wash you out like foundation would so I don't think you need blush or bronzer. It's up to you how much make up you want to wear!! It's an art for a reason.

For everyday, Bb cream or tinted moisterizer, concealer if needed, a light textured powder for oily skin if needed. Pencil eyeliner or a dark shadow as a li er (liquid is to harsh for eyeryday on a young girl, I'd save it for parties or special occasions ), tinted lip balm or gloss and black mascara if your hair is dark brown or darker or if you have a tan or deeper skintone. But if your hair is lighter and you have a fair-med skintone I'd stick to black-brown mascara (I know that's going to be hard, but believe me it looks way better).

If you want something quick and easy you could always spot conceal, throw on some mascara, and fill in your eyebrows. It takes minimal effort and looks flawless. Especially if you have pretty good skin to begin with. As for how much makeup is appropriate, that's really up to your parents and what you feel comfortable wearing. When I was in 8th grade I wore mascara, eyeliner, and concealer because that's what I felt comfortable wearing and my parents were okay with it. Personally, I think you should wear whatever you want, but your parents may think otherwise. Just sit down and talk to them, I'm sure they'll appreciate that you care about their input. :)
