Nivea Lip Butters are perfection. They come in a tin, so you can apply as much as you need, and it really feels like they seal your lips and moisturize them.

I like Burt's Bee lip balm. But I scrub my lips every morning and night with my toothbrush then apply my lip balm or butter. That way you get rid of that dead skin and moisturize your actual lips. But if the toothbrush isn't your thing you can also try sugar lip scrubs

That's certainly true.^ I prefer the Elf Lip Exfoliator. It's about $3, comes in a tube like a lipstick so it's mess free and works like a charm.

Use sugar and scrub your lips with it to remove dead skin, then put Shea butter on them :) or whatever lip balm or moisturizer you want

Eos (evolution of smooth) lip balm eggs. they're strictly natural & they're moderately cheap. ($3-4) but they last! I have 6! I'm an addict lol.

I just want to point out that either people love eos or they said it doesn't do anything for them. I think it's only good if your lips are already in good condition. also, people said it was really waxy.

I can't live without my burst bees honey lip balm and my fresh sugar tinted lip treatment. Every night I exfoliate with fresh sugar lip scrub and then apply my fresh sugar shine treatment over night! I'm kinda a fresh addict! It works amazing though.

I use Nivea at night, like I smother my lips in it and they're all lovely and smooth:D I use the essential care one in the blue tube:) I also swear by Palmers cocoa butter swivel stick, it's amazing! My lips got so dry when on holiday due to a mix of hot weather and chlorine, and they got so dry they bled and tore. It hurt so much, and I started putting the Palmers lip balm on them. A day later they were back to normal:) plus it smells like chocolate and cost me 2 pounds:)

STAY AWAY from products like Carmex. They contain PHENOL as an active ingredient! Phenol is actually a drying agent and disinfectant... among other things. I work in a funeral home and you do NOT want to know what we use phenol for. You really don't want that ingredient on your lips! It will make your lips feel better, but only for a short amount of time-you will need to reapply more chapstick in a short while in order to keep your lips feeling moisturized.
SO... just look at the ingredients and avoid phenol like the plague!

Exfoliate your lips first... Homemade: mix oil or honey with sugar and rub on lips to get rid of dry skin. The oil will moisturise your lips too. And then just put a lip balm on every few hrs.
