I graduated high school early and planned on going to cosmetology school but then I got a job right after and haven't had time. In the long run, I wanna be a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer while being a makeup artist or hair stylist on the side (:
As of your question, I agree with Mikayla, you should ask stores around your area (;

How long does it take to become a Nuclear Med Physcian? Right now the plan for me is becoming a Pharmacy Tech and working in a hospital or maybe a nursing home/rehab. And who knows, maybe if I like enough I'll become a pharmacist

These are some cool dream professions! :) I'm in school right now studying ceramics, and starting darkroom photography. I'm aiming for a studio art major. Next year, I'm also going to go take a massage therapy course, and be a massuse. I've always wanted to do it!

I'm going to school to become an Ob RN, & I would love to be a makeup artist on the side part time. I'm also a momma which I love! I think I was meant to be a mother, but a working mother lol. Even though being a mom is definitely hard work already.

Great dreams ladies! Good luck to all of you, you all sound very motivated and passionate about what you love. =)
I used to work in the fashion industry, now I work in the funeral industry! I love both! Right now I am just an apprentice funeral director and embalmer, studying for my National Board exams. In the future, I would love to open up a sustainable green funeral home or else become a traveling restoration specialist where I travel around the country practicing surgical reconstructive techniques on difficult cases. I even get to do a little makeup and hair here and there... but its quite different from the rest of you ladies.

@Shelby H. I love babies too! I just don't think I could deliver them, I think it would be very sad seeing some die, or even seeing the mom die :(. my sister was a nurse and it was too much for her, but I would love to be a teacher and make a difference in their lives(:

A DMS is a more proper way of saying an ultrasound technician. Where you put pictures on screens of pregnant woman to see how their baby is or what's wrong with organs and what not.

I'm going to school to be and RN. I've always been interested in medicine since I was a little kid, I would read about diseases in my aunts med books. I'm still interested in it, it's like I sit at home and read medical journals for fun lol. But who knows, I might find something else in the medical field that I'm interested in. My boyfriend is going into respiratory therapy too.

Everyone is so ambitious, I love it!! Go girls! I am almost done my bachelor's to be a Speech-Language Pathologist...headed to grad school to get my master's in August. I want to join Peace Corps, Smile International, or Doctor's Without Borders eventually. I want to travel while I can...my bf and I are saving for after our wedding to go on a traveling "spree". I eventually want to settle in Uganda and work with women and children in my favorite village, Mbale.
@Lexi: I do a lot of respiratory major in my field of work, as well. Hospital Speech Pathologists work a lot with them!
@ Natalie: I am in love with your job, as I've told you before...soooo interesting!!

@Valeria, thanks!<3 But talk about interesting-your ambitions and goals are so amazing and the fact that you are making them into a reality is even more spectacular, you go girl!

@Shelby, thanks! The reconstruction I am talking about isn't necessarily for medical purposes. I don't want to make it sounds gross or gruesome, because its really helping out people who have lost their loved ones... but it would be to reconstruct people who were very badly injured when they died. I want to do facial (and body) reconstruction so a family can view their loved one as they remembered them in life and at peace, instead of seeing the injuries they sustained or not being able to see them before they are buried. I'm trying to choose my words wisely and be kind of vague since its not such a nice thought...but helping them is just that much more rewarding! =)

@shelby Lol I always get the "Oh youre a girl you can't work on cars, youre too weak. Plus its a guy thing!" And all I can think about is "makeup is a girl thing. Thats enough for me." haha! I can't do dresses and long nails, I'm not classy or careful enough! I'd rather go drift than go to the mall anyday lol.

I want to be an ultrasonic technician. I love to look at babies in the womb! And they do 4D now!! It's easy, clean, pays very well and I've always wanted to do something in the medical field.
