ELF, Rimmel, Maybelline, MUA, Natural Collection, BarryM, Collection2000.
I'd stay away from L'Oreal and LA Colours, L'Oreal tests horrifically on animals and LA Colours is just cheap and tacky

You have to know what you are looking for because not all elf products (and the others) are great. So for elf I love their makeup brushes (not the white $1 ones they are terrible, the black studio $3 are great though!) I like their liquid eyeliner, blush duo, powder, facial whip, face primer, and brow kit. Wet N' Wild has amazing drugstore eyeshadows, but make sure to use a primer, I love milani's eyeshadow primer. Rimmel has good eyeliners and I like their bronzer. For mascara I recommend Maybelline or L'Oreal (I use voluminous million lashes waterproof). Nyx Cosmetics is pretty good too. I like Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner pen, and the reg colorstay eyeliner. But no matter what I would read reviews on any makeup you think you want to buy, you cannot base how well you are going to like a product without reading about them because I have bought expensive makeup and hated it, same with cheap. But reading reviews gives you a feel of how the makeup might work for you. So I would check out makeupalley for reviews.
