Try light cc creams or bob creams or tinted moisturiser! This won't make your face look cakey but will give good coverage

What skin type are you?
what kind of coverage are you looking for?
there aren't specific foundations for pale skin. if you need help finding your shade, I would start at the lightest possible colour (test on your chest or jawline), & then work your way up from there. you can also go into Sephora/MAC & get matched

I'm incredibly pale too and the only way I can get a foundation to match is with a white foundation to mix in. I got the mac face and body foundation and it's pretty sheer but it's really easy to mix in with a foundation that's too dark for me. Because pretty much any foundation in the lightest shade is too dark.

Well skip the drugstore because I have tried so many foundations and none of them are pale enough for me, except for L'Or?al true match and bourjois healthy mix. I recommend Bobbi Brown though!

Make up Forever is about $40 if memory serves, but the coverage is excellent and I personally use very little product..and with the pump there is no waste or contamination. It's wonderful. 110 is a great match for me and I run really pale mid winter. You can always ask for s sample at the store before you make the purchase. :)

Dainty Doll is made for pale girls! Never get Maybelline Dream matte mousse, I'm not even pale and the lightest shade was too dark for me.
