This used to happen to me when I first started wearing heals, it felt like my ankles were going to give out. I had to wear them to an audition once, and I was standing for 7-8 hours straight. After that, no more pain lol. I think your feet just have to get used to being in that position.

I had the same problem,
but for me ever since, make sure the heel is down first then the toes, don't step all at one time

My mother told me to walk heel toe, heel toe. And when you walk make sure you do soft heel hard toe. DO NOT put all your weight on your heels. they will mpst definitely break.

And if the shoes are new or haven't been worn that much just break them in😄

It helps to work your way up to it too. don't go straight for a skyhigh shoe. start with kitten heel sandals or a lifted boot. the wider the heel, the simpler it will be too. :)

I think is normal, but try to use wedges first, is easier to learn with those... ;)

I agree I think wedges are supper confortable, and yes go

Personally, I hardly ever wear heels, so this isn't coming from someone who's like, "Heels? Piece of cake!"
Yes, definitely step with your heel first, so your not stomping around like a baby dinosaur lmao. The next part might sound silly, but I swear it helps.
My grandma was always giving me pointers on how to look my absolute best without doing much at all - shoulders back, tummy in, don't bite your nails... She taught me when I was in high school to swing my hips when walking in heels. Like, when you put one foot forward, think like those crazy runway models that throw their hips - just less of a "throw," maybe more of a "pop"? Idk, it might sounds silly, but I swear it helps me look and feel more elegant in those damned contraptions lol
I hope you find a method that helps you. Good luck! :)

It takes time to get used to also if there new you have to break them in but it can also be the type of shoe you where quality wise, there's some shoes that don't matter how much you try they will always be uncomfortable if you want a casual heel go with a wedge those are supper comfortable and don't need as much work as a heel, try some other heels you might find them more comfortable then the ones you have.

Definitely heel to toe! Otherwise you end up doing the velociraptor walk: lifting your foot way too high in order to walk with the whole foot at once. You can always tell when a girl has never worn heels because of that walk, lol.
