Setting my eyeliner w/ black eyeshadow made a world of difference for me! I always thought raccoon eyes were just something I'd have to deal with mid-day for the rest of my life if I wanted to wear eyeliner... but it really does prevent it from migrating from where you placed it!
Spray your foundation brush w/ fix+ or a setting spray before dabbing it into your product to make foundation application apply smoother... [and less get's eaten up by your brush too]
Pointed/tapered face brush applies and blends when contouring like a dream! Instead of using an angled contour brush, then having to blend it out with a powder brush... why not have an all-in-one brush? [ex: MAC138, Hakuhodo S102, NARS Yachiyo, etc.] These are the best all-in-one multi-tasking brushes. They apply powder, blush and contour powders like a dream.
Dry mascaras hold a curl better than really wet/liquidy ones. If yours is too wet, let it dry out a little, and you should see a difference in application!
Pour your brush cleaning solution [soap + water] into a foaming brush cleanser bottle. You'll save more product and water... and prolong the life of your brushes by not gunking it up with oils and thick goopy soaps in the ferrule. Foam is the most watered down form of soap you can get. My favorite to use is Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree soap [1/4 soap and 2/3 distilled water] - it foams like a dream, and I seriously think it'll take me 5+ years to finish a bottle of soap. I have a video of how brush washing w/ foam works on my page and blog: www.kabukivoodoo.com
Shroom eyeshadow from MAC is a great brow highlight - and an all over cheek, nose, cupid's bow highlight. It's one of my favorites since it is so finely milled! Love products that do double duty!
Man... I can go on and on... but I'll stop my rambling now. =)

@ Nykki: I do the same when I'm on the go and can only apply something quick. Definitely makes a difference.
@ Soma: I'm going to try that setting spray trick for foundation.
I've been really into wet eyeshadow looks lately so I've been using setting spray on my brush, then picking up eyeshadow and applying. Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. I love it, I get the look I want and it stays put. :)

dab your deeper lipstick shades instead of smearing across the lips to get a sheerer lighter shade.
