This is a super tough one!!
But I'd have to say my Coach Suede Burnt Orange Mid-Calve Boots that I got at the consignment show this past Winter.
And I do my makeup kinda "Vintage" looking.

Thanks, DeShelle! I love these pumps! Such a shame I can't get away w/ rocking these every day - because they're so comfortable!
Jordan: Post a picture if you can! I'm loving the description: I <3 the color "Burnt Orange"

Anyway, with these being so far from my face, I can pretty much pull off any crazy look....but my typical face (for almost as long as I've had these shoes haha) is a slight cat eye and nude lip :)

You know how sometimes things can be so ugly that they're cute? Well, when I saw these shoes they were definitely not my normal style, but I tried them on for laughs and fell in love for some reason. Anyways, they're hightop army green cammo that have the velcro straps. They're not like basketball shoe style, more like converse than anything. But yeah, I am suchhhh a flip flop and boots type of girl! I seriously wear flip flops well into fall until I absolutely can't wear them any longer. So they were way out of my style, but I like them for some reason because they are kind of quirky and its always good to step outside your comfort zone sometimes. :)
@Soma and Alicia - Both of yalls shoes are sooo cute! I especially wish I could get my hands on those boots. Not my style at all, but they look different and fun. :)
@Steph M - Cute dress! I love me some animal print.

@Erica Thank you :D It's great to get out of your comfort zone (like those camo shoes of yours)! My style's actually toned down quite a bit from when I was younger (I'll wear those boots with skinny jeans and a basic white tee, whereas before it was bellbottoms and crazy vintage hang ten surf polos...hahaha mid '90's hippie chic for the win!), but having that ONE out there piece can be sooo much fun sometimes. I recommend buying something wacky at least 2 or 3 times a year, just to spice things up. :D

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE buying the UGLY things and making them look good! I remember I purchased an old pinafore that had too much going on: white w/ blue floral microprint with stripes, and rainbow colored buttons w/ coordinating rainbow colored stitching on the sleeves and hem. I wore it w/ a dirty mustard yellow cardigan w/ a lace yolk and jeans - and I remember how many compliments I got on it! A customer of mine saw it and told me she tried it on and her bf said it was ugly on her, but she liked it on me. It was an awkward compliment because her bf was standing right there, and I could cut the tension in the air w/ a knife! - But yes, statement pieces: trendy, ugly or random - it's your personality and confidence that makes it shine. =D
