Maybe buy a mani and get a free pedi?? For like the first 100 customers or so on. And post a sign out front or somewhere where there's a lot of people.

Serve wine or champagne with your services... Add a few cucumbers to the soaking tub and flowers, advertise special mani/pedi add ons through living social, etc...
Usually the free booze is what gets me. Wine, pretty nails and a foot rub? I'm all yours!

Find it if its legal to offer free wine in the salon. Don't want to get into trouble. My girlfriend offered a free add on where she does nails to get the word out. And she handed out flyers at the mall where the salon is located inside of. 20% off next visit is another way to get return business.

At my salon, we offer 20% off for mani, pedi when getting a service. Also have the receptionist ask when making appointments, if they would like to get the discount. Within a few months, you will be getting repeat customers.
Also the hot polish trend is the gel colors like Shellac. Put a poster in the window to advertise that you have the trend...Good Luck girl! =)

Any % off would get me in! Maybe even do bring a friend and receive 25% off or something like that! The Shellac idea is excellent, my co worker had hers done with it and it withstood 3 weeks of preschool!!! So its a must for working class customers!
