Did you know that plain old Castor Oil is supposed to make your skin more subtle, reduce discolorations, and improve it's elasticity!? Yep, the same thing that helps empty your bowels, can help make your skin more beautiful. Just rub it on your freshly cleansed face at night (not for daytime use). Your face will look a little greasy at first, but in the morning you will wake up with a smoother softer face. Try it and let me know what your result were.

I agree with Anneka about egyptian magicb its great stuff! But castor oil is greats stuff! I use it in a weekly hair mask to help with hair growth, and it really does! My hair has never been thicker, and healthier!

I love Castor oil! I use in my hair and on my skin, too ;) If my lips are a bit dry I put a little on and voila, all better! Helpful in our harsh New England winters.

Cameron - you've found castor oil has helped thicken your hair? Dang! I must try that then!
I hate how flat my hair is, especially at my crown - it all goes in weird directions and makes it seem really flat and empty there, hah. Hard to explain.
I've been considering even getting B&B thickening shampoo and conditioner instead of my one true love, creme de coco. haha!

Oooh, I'll have to try this! I've been making my own oil moisturizer for a while now, and this would be an awesome addition to the mix.

I am going to look into getting some! ( good stocking stuffer for people who want fuller eyebrows and lashes!) I heard about Biotin by people on here and that stuff seriously works so if many of you are raving about this it must work!

Hey sorry I am so late responding! I actually found out about castor oil on a previous discussion on here a few months ago. Sometimes I will massage a tiny bit of castor oil on my roots after a shower. Once a week though I do a deep conditioner that I make with castor oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, and a packet of Henna and Placenta deep conditioner. I use a tint brush to apply it to my roots, massage it in, and then work it through the ends and leave it in overnight. I have been told by two girls I work with that it has grown noticeably in just the past few weeks, and I can SWEAR that my hair is 2 times thicker than what it was a month ago.

@Ashley - All I saw was " I thought that stuff was only supposed to be used in cakes" and I was like "OMG! No!!!" Then I saw the school principal thing and it made much more sense. hahaha. I was seriously concerned for your health there for a moment.

@Anneka Maybeeee = P
@Hafsa get it girl! It's better than even the most expensive deep condioner I have. I pick up a packet everytime I go into the store cause they are usually only like $1.00 to $2.00 a packet. I am going to have to stop by whole foods and get some rosemary oil later on! Thanks for the tip!

Ooh, keen to try that as well. When I said to mum I wanted to pick up some castor oil for my hair, she just looked at me funny. XD And what the heck, my local supermarket didn't have it! - atleast not with the rest of the oils. Grr.

I put on my eyebrows and they grew back so thick and pretty. I over plucked them...a mistake i will never make again. I dip a q-tip in my castor oil and apply it to brows every night.....love the stuff
