I am a new mom i don't have a fortune to spend on my appearance as i used to. Wanting to try extensions, make-up, and wanting a new bolder look instead of the classic mom look... HELP lol

well if your just starting out...you could do as I did...I went and watched literally Hundreds of vids on YT, and researched the ELF brand. What worked for WOC, what I could use often, what I could do without, just took me a little while, and then I found what suited me and I dove in! o, and for hair...I would use the clip in extensions as you can rock various styles with those lovely hairs! I hope I helped you and I hope someone can also give great advice...as I am a novice myself, but a good idea is better when shared! Good luck, and Pretty girl rock out!!----->Elle J.

I did the same and went the youtube route. Check out Lisa Eldridge, Pixiwoos and Amarixe. They give great tips and make-up techniques. All you have to do then is find products that suit your budget. Try Inglot if you have it where you live?

I did the same i am a mom of four so i am on a tight budget. I actually put a little bit of money aside and just kept building on it. I went the youtube route and watched thousands of videos figuered out what looks i like and different techniquest. Deffinitely invest in a good eye shadow brush, blending brush, kabuki brush, and powder brush. You can apply your foundation and concealer with your fingers at first if you want to skip those two brushes. I started out with drug store brand makeups to practice with i still use them from time to time. Deffinitely watch the videos they will help alot, most use expensive brands so if you cant afford them alot of times you can find a cheaper version close to them!! Goodluck!

Get a decent palette that covers all the bases for eyeshadow *try amazon*, don't spend tons of eyeliner/mascara... cheapie works fine. The only thing I think is ever worth the money is foundation.... if you are just starting out, try drugstore brands *mineral or liquid* and see what works for you. Most palettes come up a blush color of some sort, eyeshadows can be used for blush, contouring, eyebrows and highlighting. So don't worry about getting tons of extras. Check out Ulta, they usually have buy 1 get 1 free deals on their house makeup. Most importantly, play with it and take pics of yourself after your finish your makeup... its a great way to see what suits you and what you like. Happy fabbing!
