Hey everyone! So I have my very first make-up job EVER. I'm told I will just be doing make-up on male actors. So initially I think just powder..? Any tips and ideas as to anything else I should have with me if I'm just doing make-up on men? I really don't want to go unprepared and need some advice from anyone who has experience with these jobs. Lots of thanks to whoever can help me out :DD

Hmm, maybe some powders, liquid foundations, bronzers, brow pencils, clear brow gel, setting powders? I dont really know, I'm just suggesting things people would use to create a natural look. Or something like that xD

Thank you! Luckily the actors are both around the same skin tone so i'm going to just bring some powders and concealer, clear brow gel is a good suggestion! Thank you so much for replying. I've been stressing about this 'cause I don't want to seem unprepared haha

Sounds silly, but razors. If they've got some stubble (unless they're meant to) then it's gonna be VERY hard to get foundation to sit on top of it. Clear brow gel, maybe brow pencils to define their brows a bit, foundation, powder, bronzer (not shimmery!) and sometimes I like to bring a gray pencil - black is too obvious - to tightline their eyes. if you line the upper lid it's also too obvious, but a man with defined eyes is gorgeous!
Good luck! :)

Not silly, having a razor with you on set is a necessity.
concealer, foundation, a non-powdery looking powder, and a good contour color (not bronzer...). Sometimes I mix clear and black or brown mascara and apply the thinnest layer, but it really depends on the type of shoot. I wouldn't line the eyes at all.
lip balm, but don't layer it too thick to where it looks shiny. You may even need to blot some of it off.

Thank you soo much everyone. A few of those hadn't even crossed my mind. I will take all this into consideration and bring it and see what I need to do. My employee told me the lighting is soft so that helps so much. So thank you all so much ladies for the advice and tips... it really means a lot that people take the time to help me out let alone anyone! :D Much love to you girls!!!
