Are Ecotool foundation brushes good? What about the name Bamboo?

I haven't really tried out any Ecotool products yet because I was a bit skeptical in how it did and I wanted a brush that lasts. If you're willing to pay more, try the Sigma "Sigmax" Flat top synthetic kabuki brush (F-80). It applies liquid foundation without streaks and it looks airbrushed. Not only that, it feel awesome on your face, SUPER soft :)

I love ecotools, I've had mine for 2 years, wash them regularly, and they have never shed or broken. I got a Coastal Scents brush roll for Christmas (beautychoice.com if you're interested, they have discounted stuff), and the only brushes I didn't get rid of were my Ecotools ones because I love them so much!

The Sigmax f80 is a really good foundation brush. The cost $16

I love Ecotools, but I agree w/ Theresa T. In this one: the Sigmax F80 blows away most high end brushes I own.

i'd suggest the entire sigmax line, to be honest (if it's in your budget). they're so versatile and they don't break down or shed at all if you take care of them the right way.

i have ecotools flat traditional foundation brush and i use it for big concealing spots sometimes but for foundation, i dont really like it- i think it makes my foundation look a little streaky but that's probably because i'm spoiled by the sigma brushes

I tried it out, and i think the brushes are ok. I love the elf studio linie brushes better, i feel like they are much better to apply the foundation. And at the same time they do not cot that much.
Good luck

Some targets carry it (E.L.F.)
I'm pretty sure Sigma is online only, but like I said, the Sigma F80 is a really good foundation brush. It gives an airbrush effect that makes your face look flawless. It's a good price for a brush in my opinion. Best to invest in something that will last.
I can't say much about E.L.F. foundation brushes because I've never tried them. I've tried their eyeshadow brush and I'm not a big fan. I recommend you trying E.L.F. studio foundation brush first ($3) and if you like it, then stick with it. If not, go for the Sigma F80 ($16).
Honestly, if you're iffy about either of them, go to any cosmetic store and look at Flat Top foundation brushes that is both soft yet dense. I looked around for about a week until I found one that was exactly what I wanted on Sigma. :)
Good luck!

I agree the F80 is amazzzz ballls!!!! I have Eco Tool brushes and I really like them. I like to use the stiff eyeshadow brush for applying pigments and the eye blending brush is super soft and it does the job. I also really like the Eco Tools powder brush and blush brush, they are super soft and they make it easy to blend blush and apply a face powder.

If you are on a budget, I love the Real Technique foundation brush(I think I'm beginning to sound like a record player :P) I really love it, the application is phenomenal!
