Does anyone else have problems with their makeup fogging up their contact lenses? If so, I was wondering how you can stop it, please help! I wear Acuvue Oasis.

I used to have this problem as well the only thing I found that would take the filmy ness off was actually rubbing them on my fingers with the saline solution. I also noticed that with that brand it seems when this happens they dry out your eyes much faster. I have since stopped wearing lenses, but if I were to buy another set I would stray from the Acuvue brand because of this.

i wear contact lenses and i've never had trouble with makeup fogging up my lenses. but if makeup has been doing that for you, i suggest that you stay away from doing things like, tightlining, lining your waterline or wearing mascara. even putting on eyeshsadow on your bottom lash line can migrate to your eyes. also, use a primer on your lid if you're using eyeshadow to help the eyeshadow from possibly migrating to your eyes and fogging up your lenses. :)

I agree with Denise F. though, if you really want to avoid it, you would put on your make- up/ eyeshadow first before your contact lens, it's much more easier.

I wear the same contacts and I have had the same problem. I don't like to put in my contacts after my make up is done bc my eyes water and it smears my liner. When they get foggy I have to take them out, rub them between my fingers with saline solution, put them back in and re do my smudged liner :( The only thing I do to try to prevent this from happening is I clean my lenses before I put them in and I put eye drops in my eye. Then I put on my make up.
