So I have been really into my skincare regime and have been hearing rave reviews about the clarisonic. Since I'm a college student whatever I buy has to be worth my money lol..Can you tell me your thoughts and if its worth it

I have a Clarisonic Plus (I use the body brush as much as I use the facial brush) and I gave my daughter (in college as well) a Clarisonic Mia. We both LOVE them. She loves that her skin is cleaner and her Proactiv treatment works better. I love it because it exfoliates daily and both my and her skin stays radiant. It is an investment for sure, so if I were you, I'd make sure to buy it somewhere that has an easy return policy and if after two weeks you don't like it, make sure you return it. I bought both of our Clarisonics on QVC because I took advantage of their Easy Pay option and they have a very good return policy. In my opinion, both purchases were money well spent.

I bought the Clarisonic Mia. I choose this one over the others because it comes in more colours and because I didn't think that I needed to have more than 1 speed.
I use my makeup remover first and then add my cleanser to the clairsonic, use a toner and then moisturize.
When I was reading reviews I saw that everyone said that within a week they noticed that their skin was getting better. I started to get annoyed after the first week and my skin was getting worse. I got mine before Christmas and now almost a month later my skin is finally starting to improve drastically. My skin was not use to the deep pore cleansing that I was giving it and I broke out pretty hard core aka skin purging. But now that my skin is use to it and I use it regularly it's pretty amazing.
I love how the mia is small and easy to travel with, and the fact that I've been using it every night for over a month I've only had to charge it once. You don't need to press hard just circular motions all over and it does everything for you.
My face is softer, cleaner and clearer. It is expensive especially as a student but it is something that you will use forever. Promise

Kristina brought up a good point that I forgot about. Do not press hard. The brush head should just glide over your skin. And her choice in purchasing the Mia was a smart one. The only reason I have the Plus is for the use of the body brush (during my monthly cycles I break out on my upper back...ick) with Neutrogena body wash. The facial brush head has two speeds and I only use the lower speed (which is the same speed the Mia is set at). I made the mistake of using the higher speed for about a week and my skin did not like it. Nykia, if you do get it, be like Kristina and buy the Mia. ;-)

Purchasing a Clarisonic was one of my best investments ever. I have the two speed one and got the MIA for my mother. We both love it. I am really into skin care and believe that great makeup begins with great skin care. I remove my makeup with Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil, rinse with warm water and then use my Clarisonic along with Boscia Purfiying Cleansing Gel for one minute every night. I try my best to do it for a minute every morning as well.

I would never use an exfoliating cleanser with your Clarisonic....it would be a bit too abrassive on the skin.

You should replace the brush head just like you would replace a toothbrush....so like once every three months. I keep mine for like five months because i remove brush head and wash with dishwashing soap and rinse well to disinfect. I stick to the sensitive brush because my skin is well, pretty sensitive.

I purchased mine at Sephora. The MIA went down from originally being $149 to about $119 because they have the new, two speed MIA.

The only time I would not advise purchasing a Clarisonic is to those that suffer from acne, a serious case of acne at that.

My pores appear smaller, my face is softer, and I feel that I am less oily than before. I also notice that my makeup looks more flawless and I need to use less skin care products and makeup. Moisturizers seems to absorb a lot better and now I use less product thus saving me $$$. 80)

I received the Clarisonic Plus for Christmas from my Mom. She actually didn't even know it was the Plus she bought me, she saw it on QVC on Easy Pay and remembered my wanting one and bought it, lol!

I've been using it since Dec. 25th and I have to say I could NEVER be without it. I have to admit I haven't used the body brush yet, but I've also been a tiny bit lazy since Christmas so haven't experimented. I did however use it on my Moms dry, cracked, swollen ankles and it really helped her moisturiser sink in well.

My face didn't really "purge" too much so to speak, and I can still see some blackheads on my nose/chin (99% gone). I used to have red "bumps" so to speak (not spots) on my cheek bones - they've all but basically vanished. My skin is softer, smoother and generally looks healthier. I also use less products due to this, in turn saving me money - which when using an Estee Lauder foundation makes me extremely happy to not have to buy so often!

I honestly can't tell you what speed setting I have it on (I haven't looked, perhaps should, lol) but if you're not fussed, why not get the Classic or the Mia? It IS an investment piece, and albeit having to buy a new head every 3 months or so - it's completely worth it. Although mine was a gift, if anything happened to it and I didn't get the money from contents insurance - I'd run out and buy another one immediately. I could not be without it now.

Buy the Revolve by DDF. I'm not going to go into why because I reviewed the product on this site & I did a review in my Nov. purchase haul video. If you want to save money you'll check it out.
correction...I explain the difference in the clarisonic and the revolve in my october video...hope it helps.

I have the Clarisonic pro, but to be honest, I've never used the other speed functions, so a MIA would have been enough for me. I love mine to pieces though... And am about to get my bf one (in a manly coordinating color) soon too!

The Clarisonic was def. a game changer in my skin's overall appearance.
