I have always had a make-up area, but I am finally being upgraded to a make-up room thanks to my amazing fiance! My problem is Im having trouble getting inspiration. I have watched tons of videos but most are just collection videos and not actual room tours... What are your favorite room tours, or inspirational photos or your own photos link em up id love to see them!!!

Congrats with getting a make up room, this must be amazing.
Why do you not turn this room into a walk in closet, with a small area reserved for make up?
Because then you can have your most used clothes out hanging on these racks you can get for clothes. Doing this is going to make it easier for you to have a visual view on what you have and how this look should be. And if you have space you could also buy these book store selves, and put your shoes in it...this gives you a overview of the shoes you own. But good luck with you room, and hope this inspired you. ;)

You should check out blogs about interior design, I always get super inspired by those. I loooove seeing all the different things they come up with. Theyre not specifically about makeup rooms so much, but I think once you see so many different rooms, and different colors things will pop up and give you fun ideas to experiment with :)

I wish I had my own makeup room your 1 lucky girl :) I like Marias idea of making it a closet/makeup room though. Why not have all your loved fashion and beauty products in the same room plus unless you have alot and I mean alot of makeup the room will also look bare.
Some ideas that I personally use is pick something you love and surround yourself with it. I personally love Paris even though I've never been and the 1950's so I have framed portraits of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, an Eiffel Tower poster and a multi frame picture holder with famous Paris landmarks or things that remind me of Paris. They all tie together though because its all black & white photography. Another suggestion is an image board I always had to make these in fashion school. All you have to do is get a big bulletin board, tacks, and a bunch of magazines. Then just start tearing out images that you like or want to recreate. You can also use pictures from a favorite trip you took, paint chips or fabric swatches of colors or patterns you really like, even hang some of your favorite jewelry on it. Pretty much anything you like/love or that catches your eye put on it and just keep adding to it throughout time.
Also the last thing is storage is key. I ended up getting makeup storage containers that just fit all the products I already had, but when I started to grow my collection even more I had to buy all new containers so my advice is to get something bigger then what you think you actually need so your not going out a month or two later getting all new storage. I hope I gave you some inspiring ideas and that this was helpful :)

This room is makeup-PORN-worthy!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ6x_T3qUUg&list=PLB759025DD51558EF&context=C3c53ae9ADOEgsToPDskKR7lgyjMpd3ROyQZVPtjXP
