Beauties, what type of brush do you use to apply your foundation/concealer?
What Brand has the best brushes?!
Check out my blog for my review on a Angled Foundation Brush from Qosmedix!

These rank from my favs, most to least in my collection for liquid application:
Sigma F80 [Soma + F80 = FOREVER!]
Sephora Airbrush #55 Platinum [was my go-to brush for years, now I enjoy it as a backup or for blushes]
Real Techniques Buffing Brush [not too bad as a F80 stand-in, but it's a bit floppier and much less dense than the Sigma counterpart]
Sigma F82 [too stiff, if I have to use it, I will...]
Elf Studio Powder Brush [sheds too much, but application is fantastic for price]
Louise Young LY34 [sucks up too much product, applies well though]
Sonia Kashuk's Pointed Foundation Brush [smaller dupe of LY34]
MAC 109 [why would anyone RUIN such a beautiful contour brush as foundation? Sheds too much for me to enjoy the application]
MAC 130 [too tiny... too stiff... takes TOO LONG]
MAC 187 [ugh, don't even get me started... in a nutshell: sheds, not dense enough, scratchy, uneven coverage, bleeds when washed...]
Real Techniques Angled Foundation Brush [absorbs too much product, feels like I'm slapping frosting on my face with a paddle and fighting it to even out.]
Sonia Kashuk's Foundation Brush: HATED it. It absorbed so much product, I felt it morphed into a spatula and I was just wiping stuff on my face.
MAC 183: only for buffing in powder foundations. Liquid goes nowhere near this!
I've yet to mosey into cream foundations, so I don't know if this list will have some rediscovered items for those purposes, but that's my collection in a nutshell.
When it comes to best brushes - for LIQUID, I can say without a doubt that the Sigma F80 reigns supreme in my collection. =)

I only have 2: the sonia kashuk pointed foundation brush and elf studio powder brush (for blending well) i love them both! :]

Either Sigma F80 or Studio Tools foundation brush (available at Target). Sometimes I use my hands.
I've also used the Sigma F60, but shortly after I bought it the ferrule started to loosen (which could've been my own fault, I'll admit, but still).

^Shelly, you should contact Sigma about a replacement. I've heard great things about their customer service when it comes to loose ferrules, but also - there's a blowdry method to re-adhere your brush to its ferrule on YouTube if all else fails. =)

I honestly only use the 187 for my foundation. It's the only thing that will give me my desired look. I don't like the look of buffed foundation (on me) at all.

@Soma: Thing is, I think it happened too long after I ordered it and, like I said, it may be my own fault. It wouldn't be right, to me, to return something broken when I may've been responsible for it happening. :(
