What are some tricks you guys use to keep color on your waterline/upper waterline? Are there any brands in particular you recommend? I normally will set my waterline with a black or white shadow depending on what color I used.

I heard the Laura Mercier Tightline Cake EyeLiner works great :)

My liner, never, ever, ever stayed on more than an hour until recently :) I forget where i learned the trick but i line with gel liners now! It just stays put for hours, and to have a guess at it, if you set it with eyeshadow i think it might resemble concrete, un-wear-away-able lol

Korie - Oooo! I might try that out.
Alan - Lol! Yeah, I love gel eyeliners! I've never had any problem with the powder making it look concretey, buuut it can be uncomfortable if you wear contacts or naturally have sensitive eyes.

Definitely set a gel liner w/ black eyeshadow... it does feel a little uncomfortable for the first few minutes of wear. If you're looking to tightline, I usually blink really hard a few times to transfer whatever gel liner is on my lower lash line to the top after applying. I repeat after setting w/ powder. The natural moisture from your lids transfer and helps ease the uneasy feeling of dryness when setting w/ powder. =)

I've heard the recent buzz about gel liners, and they really do work quite well.
