Okay, so I live in Australia and unfortunately over here we don't have any cool brands like urban decay, nars, or anything like that.
If anyone on here lives in Australia and has any products (skincare or makeup) that they swear by, let my know :D!
Thanks heaps x

Napoleon Perdis is fantastic. Pricey but good investment products if you use them for special occasions. Face of Australia their primer is comparable to Napoleons at just a fraction of the price. (i have that one in my makeup kit:P)
Australis is really good too. For years i brushed both brands off as cheap and dodgy. DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! Im in love with Australis face powder, so fine and not cakey at all, looks great in photos too. Comparable to more expensive brands for sure.
i was over the moon when i discovered smashbox, benefit, too faced all available in myer here (brisbane city). a new brand that caught my eye The Makeup Store, i was like a little girl in a candy store, jumping and squeaking at all the colours, lipstick and range of products. Heaven. Im sure the sales assistants thought i was mentally challenged or something. The range available there is nothing i have ever seen before.
Apart from them i'd love to try Illamasqua. But having 0 money right now i just go and play with the testers to feed my addiction :P
Skincare i swear by Olay total effects. im on to my 2nd bottle. i have noticed my skin tone to be more even and old pimple scaring to be less noticeable. I even wear it as a primer because it leaves my skin so velvety soft. Its not heavy on my oily skin. BIO OIL as a all over body moisturiser. My skin is loving this stuff right now with the dry winter weather, applied after a shower my skin drinks it up. Hasn't been this smooth or soft in ages. I have also notice a difference in stretch marks too, dramatically faded in colour *thumbs up* i might brave a bikini this coming summer :P
For a great faux tan, Dove Summer Glow. For fast results with it i use the medium-dark, even though i'm so naturally ghostly white. 3 days and i have a beautiful sun kissed glow.
I could keep going on suggestions but this post is probably ridiculously long already. sorry for my beauty spam ladies :P hope it help though.

that was great info bec! i do find the makeup store to be a little expensive, u could pretty much by the same products from MAC for a tiny bit more money, but they have amazing glitters i love them! also INGLOT is one of my favourite brands at the moment beats MAC,NARS etc i love it they have amazing prodcuts they are a tiny bit dear but they are worth it, they are available online now which is great but lucky for me i have one near me and BEC i know there is a store at CHERMSIDE, i have a 20% off discount card too! :) but mecca cosmetics supply nars, stilla etc and KIT cosmetics have too faced and smashbox.
Plus dont go past target for some great brands, australis, revlon, rimmel, bourjous (if thats how its spelt) but just shop around, and plenty of online shops!

I live in a rural area so only really have chemist brands. Although I did go to Brisbane a week or so ago and when I walked into Myer and found benefit, too faced and smashbox I actually teared up I was that happy haha. My friend couldn't believe someone could get so excited about makeup. Bec do you have email/Facebook, I'd like to hear more suggestions! And Thankyou ladies :) keep the suggestions coming haha
