I have huge pores on my cheeks and I've tried everything! I've tried tons of maskes and cleansers but nothing really seems to help. Does anyone else have this problem?

Linda, sorry, I don't really know how old you are, but dilated (I'm not sure if I spelled it right) pores are the first sign (or one of the first signs) of aging... I'm 24 and I noticed I've got these dilated pores I never had before and also wrinkles on my forehead... So I started to use an antiaging cream by Avon Solutions which is made for younger skin... also, you can try some pore restringeant (also not sure if I spelled it right, but you know, those tonics and creams that are used to shrink pores). After using this cram by Avon I noticed my skin (pores, wrinkles and everything) has gone better, but nothing has actually disappeard completely... I guess it takes time, I just started using it last month :)

I've had this problem for a while now. It doesn't seem to get better nor worse. Both my parents have perfect skin but why me?! I will really give the Avon cream a try. Thanks! :)

Could I purchase this online?

I have huge pores on my nose and the BodyShop Seaweed Face Wash and Toner has done me WONDERS. They also have something called the Pore Perfector in the same range. Basically both the wash and the toner has something in it that tightens your pores. And surprisingly it has long term effects!

I approached it in a different way than you, because I was more concerned by the fact that my pores were so big and they were collecting dirt and I was getting pimples. But this line is targeted towards minimizing pores, and it has worked wonders for me, in that my pimples are less, and if anything my pores are cleaner and tighter. Hope that helps :)

That helps a lot! I'm gonna go to my nearest body shop and give it a try. I'll update you and see how it works for my pores. Thanks! :)

They actually have a tester kit so it may be worth getting that, that's how I started! :) I have videos about it on my YouTube if you wanna check it out!

Perhaps try Benefit's Pore-Fessional? It's supposed to work wonders for acne scarring and enlarged pores!

Tree S. how much does it cost? Sounds like something that might really work for my skin and my huge pores.

I guess you can get it online, maybe on your county's Avon webshop... but if your pores are not a sign of aging I would recommend you a pore astringent (I think that's the correct word)... So, if you don't have any other signs of aging better try that, though I don't know any that works for sure because I haven't tried any yet...it's a very fresh problem for me too, I also had perfect skin 4 years... Just stay positive- there is no solution you can't find online... I found out some days ago that there's an Acne Scar Bleacher- just to make an example of something I didn't even imagine that could exist and even less that you can purchase it online :)) So don't give up!!!

Clinique & NARS have a pore/skin refining product.. I've seen both work wonders, but I don't know if either has long term benefits - but I thought I'd put it out there. :]

Tree S. - Wow that is really pricey. I'm sure all that works but its too much for me. Kind of on a budget lol.

Christina - Thank you! I am looking to try anything as of right now. I'm gonna look into these products during one of my days off :)

exfoliate like a mad woman. then after you cleanse use clean and clears pore toner. it makes my skin feel so clean and tight.

they also make biore strips for the face, i mostly have huge pores on the nose and the cheek that meets the nose.

exfoliating and extracting my blackheads and washing and toning really helps, i think. or go for a facial

Arbonne have just launched a new product that is great for many things, in particular reducing the size of your pores. It's the cellular renewal masque - use only at night time. You can buy it on line, you have to go through an Independent Consultant. Although only recently launched it's fast becoming a favourite product of mine.

Enhanced formula with gentle cellular exfoliation visibly improves skin tone and texture, minimises the appearance of pores, and provides skin with an immediate, radiant glow.

Retails at $65. What I love is that Arbonne has a 40 day money back guarantee - so you've not got anything to lose by trying it.

I am a consultant with Arbonne, so if you'd like to try a sample of this product then please let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Good luck!

Benifit, Avon, And clinque work well. Have you tried clean and clear micro beads? i used it and it really helped out my skin.

I have found the answers to my prayers. I've tried the pore refiner before and I love it. I'm really excited to try the pore effect and cleanser.

A great home remedy is Baking Soda. There are plenty of Youtube tutorials and reviews on how this works to exfoilate and minimize the appearance of pores.

To be perfectly honest, you'll never permanently shrink your pores. There are things you can do to reduce it and temporarily shrink them like doing at home facials then using an egg white (no yolk) with a bit of lemon juice (a tsp at most), whisk it then apply to face for 15 minutes (no more than).

CeraVe's PM moisturizing lotion after cleansing w/ Cetaphil and using Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask has done wonders for my skin... [and exfoliating w/ a Clarisonic every 2-3 days]

CeraVe made the biggest difference though - so much, I went out and bought their moisturizing cream too. It has ceramides and hyralaunic acid [sp?] and is the BEST moisturizer I've ever used. You can find it at Target, CVS, and Walgreens.

I've abandoned my Clinique products and even my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum for this. Don't get me wrong, I saw a difference w/ the serum, but the pricing is awful for such a small product.

CeraVe products = $8-12. I'm so satisfied, as soon as I run out of my Cetaphil, I'm switching over to CeraVe's moisturizing cleanser.

It's also listed on this website called www.inmykit.com - a site that outlines industry MUAs secret weapons. I <3 it!
