So yesterday I logged on Tumblr to find out that Elf had a 70% off sale for like 70 minutes and I totally missed it. I was able to catch the 50% off one since it ran until midnight but I was still pretty upset.
This might sound kind of stupid but I was wondering, all the people who are always on top of sales and such, where are you getting all these updates and notifications?! Or do you really check all makeup sites everyday or something...? I seem to always miss them and it's so annoying!

I missed it too :( I think it's mainly by Facebook and Twitter + through their e-mail newsletters... my problem is that I automatically delete most e-mails that I get from companies. It's a bad habit that I should really stop lol

Twitter/Facebook/Email - ELF tends to send very informative Emails & will tell you when EVERY sale happens. Twitter is more up-to-the-min - I was able to watch the 60% off sale with this a few days ago. I was even aware of the 70% off too bc of Twitter!
Facebook seems to be updated the most, so checking them out on there is VERY helpful. :)

^I only have a Twitter to follow sales and bug companies to restock on things I want... haha.
Follow whichever stores you have an interest in shopping for. Beautylish's twitter is also pretty informative as well. =)

I get all that kind of news through their emails and I "fan" them on Facebook and they tell about sales on there. If you get emails straight to your phone tho it can get kind of annoying lol, so I would suggest Facebook or Twitter.

I also missed this sale. I was so sad, when I found out ;(. I'm sure there will be another time though. Plus E.L.F. always has really awesome sales. So at least its not a rare occasion or something ;).
