I'm 24 years old, and as I've been getting older, I've noticed that my skin isn't how it used to be. By this I mean that my skin isn't as smooth as it used to be. I've been fortunate that I've never had too many problems with acne except while I was pregnant. My main concern is flesh bumps. Not acne or pimples, just little bumps or raises that are the same color as my skin. No matter how well I cleanse my face, they never seem to go away. This happened when I began to use liquid foundation almost daily. Does anyone have the same issue and know what I can do to help or get rid of it? Thank you!

The little bumps may possibly be milia bumps. They usually are from using different oils that aren't meant for the skin... IE baby oil, olive oil, etc. Check your ingredients. Basically, if our skin can't break down those types of ingredients, they absorb, but they just sit there. They take years to go away. I would say use Alpha Hydroxy Acids to exfoliate, or a Clarisonic. The Clarisonic makes such a huuuge difference in the texture of my skin each time I use it.

I agree with using AHAs or BHAs (salicylic acid) in your daily routine to properly exfoliate your skin daily. I get milia around my eyes, they are very small stubborn protein filled whiteheads.

I agree with Stephanie and Heather! And I suggest also getting a good toner! I had the same problems. And then I got a toner, and I always thought I was cleansing so good, but on the toner covered cotton ball, there would be so much makeup leftover. It makes such a huge difference:)

SO true Breanna! I use a makeup removing wipe and then I use Cetaphil daily cleanser to ensure I remove all my foundation.

Cetaphil is one of those cleansers that really removes makeup good so you must cleanse great.:) I use Murad and their cleanser feels a lot like cetaphil:)

It's sounds like you need some exfoliation. I had the same problem for a while. Roc resurfacing discs are amazing! They exfoliate gently and your skin is so smooth afterwards!
