Change your pillowcase or put a damp towel over it. Also don't put covers over you face :) it looks like mainly when you're laying on your side.

Hi Ericka,
What was your skin type before you started bc? Any hormonal change can cause a change for our skin. Because your breakouts are on the outer areas of your face, using stripping or drying acne products may make your skin worse. If we strip our skin of it's natural oils it starts producing more leading to more breakouts. While most doctors will say that it's natural to see some changes such as breakouts, it should subside within 3 months while your body adjusts. If it's been longer than 3 months you may want to speak with your physician as there are other bc options that may not have as much Progesterone (the hormone that leads to breakouts) in it. Good luck!

I'm also on bitch control, and good luck finding something! I have used a prescription ointment to get rid of mine that are all over my chin and they just don't go away!:(( of course, it's one of the side effects of my birth control so I don't think it'll clear up until its all outta my system :(

I'm not sure of you're asking for a facewash or something for your acne scars but to cleanse my face I use the loreal go 360 anti breakout and it works great for me, and believe me I had lots of acne! Now I just need to get rid of the scars.

I like the other gals recommendations but buy some tea tree oil and get a cotton ball or swab and apply it to the area as you would a spot treatment. It's drying over time but its amazing how fast it cures blemishes! It's all natural and can be used other things if you don't end up liking it for your face, but I'm confident you'll like it :)

You may be exfoliating too much, twice a week is more than enough. Maybe nix one exfoliating session and are what happens. Also have you steamed your face to pull everything out? Try it, sometimes it helps!

Change your birth control if this continues for 3 months. The hormones should balance out after your 3rd pack, If it doesn't then see your doctor.
