When I shave my skin feels so prickly and as the hair grows back its itchy and dry! Please give me all the advice you have! I have really sensitive skin I know and I always use a new blade when I shave now. I use coconut oil and baby oil after I shave because any other kind of lotion burns after I shave.
PLEASE I NEED HELP

Hi Safiya,

Have you tried shaving with the grain rather than against the grain? (ie. shaving with the blades facing the direction your hair grows in). This makes sure there is less pulling at the hairs on sensitive skin.

I'll try that! Thank you!

I had that problem until I coated my legs with baby oil and then shaving creme for sensitive skin and then shaved. It works for me! also moisturizer an hour or so before shaving.

Exfoliate before you shave. :D Use a bathpoof when you wash, and wash before you shave. Then what I do is use a dead sea salt scrub (Deep Sea Cosmetics and Premier are both amazing and will last forever) and that helps exfoliate and moisturize more, and it makes my legs super smooth. Then after you wash that off and get out of the shower use a good body butter all over your legs. I have about a million different ones in my bathroom. Lol. Also, make sure you are using a GOOD razor, not those 'use once or twice and then throw away' ones. I recommend the Venus with Olay or the Schick Hydro Silk.
