You can't really trust everything you read on google either though. I don't think that's true but you should call your doctor and double check.

Any vitamin/mineral taken to excess can kill you.

As long as you're not taking 400g, you should be fine.

The good thing about taking vitamins is your body will use and absorb what it needs and what it doesn't it will put to waste :) vitamin e really good for you in moderation! Too much of anything is never good :)

It actually depends on if the vitamin is water soluble or fat soluble as they are metabolized differently in the body. Too much water soluble vitamins (such as vitamin c) will be excreted but fat soluble vitamins, like vitamin e are stored in adipose tissue (fat cells). This can be toxic to the body in high doses over time. The daily recommended intake of vitamin e is 15 mg/day so I wouldn't recommend going over that limit.

Exactly what Melissa A. said.
You shouldn't be taking any vitamin though without consulting a doctor first. I'm sure you're thinking, 'Oh who cares, that's silly.' but seriously if it's something you shouldn't be taking your doctor can tell you, and if you should be taking that vitamin he can tell you what companies are trusted more than others.
