Over the last few months I have been suffering from mildly severe acne. I got a hold on my diet and my skin care regime. Now most of the actual acne is gone. But now I am left with small bumps all over my face. I feel I am so self-conscious to go out anywhere with or without makeup. Without, my face is red, splotchy and covered in acne scars, but you can't really see the bumps. With makeup, All the discoloration and scars are covered but I am left with all the bumps practically spotlighted on my face. I can't film. I don't feel like going anywhere or being around anyone. I just can't get rid of them.
HELP?!?!?

Maybe you should see a dermatologist.

Yeah I recommend getting facials once every week for about a month. I know thats sounds crazy but it will save you more money in the long run or will cost about the same as going to see a dermatologist and then buying some chemical medicine they'll get you to use. I highly highly highly recommend purchasing clarisonic, pricey but I has the same problem and it has by far been the best investment I have ever made. Using a good moisturizer will help as well. If the problem pursist, then I would go see a dermatologist. Also using a mineral makeup will help allow your skin to breathe, it for sure helped my skin when I stopped using some much makeup to cover up. Now all I do is moisturize, primer, concealer (with a brush and hard candy glamoflauge from walmart), and then merle norman or bare minerals and I get complemented daily and it actually helps cover my redness

Sounds like Whiteheads. Whiteheads are oil trapped under dead skin cells. exfoliate every 3 days or so.

Don't over wash your face because it strips natural moisture from your skin, if you over cleanse your skin will produce more oil for moisture which causes you to break out. Use a oil free moisturizer after you cleanse! Eat clean majority of the time, wash your pillow case regularly, if your hair touches your face make sure it's not oily because that can cause breakouts also! there some tips I've found that really work! I study skin biology also. :)

I have these too, I went to the doctors a few days ago and got prescribed a cream which includes 2.5 benzoyl peroxide, I've been using it for the past 2 nights and the little bumps have acc seemed to fade abit already, hope this helps you too :)
