Primer goes on first usually because you want your foundation(*which is next*) to stay on your face for a longer period of time. Foundation is to cover your imperfections but if you don't need it then you could trade it for maybe a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. Then you use a concealer to cover stuff like that maybe didn't quite get covered with your foundation. And I highlight is used to highlight your face. Apply to cheek bones, forehead, Cupid's bow, and the bridge of your nose!! Wow a lot!! Hope it helps😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Foundation - Covers imperfections and gives you an even skin tone. Apply with a sponge or brush. Can get in creams, powders, mousses, liquid, etc.
Primer - Gives you an even base and makes your makeup look better.
Concealer - Conceals imperfections on your skin
Highlight - Highlight the main line down your nose, cheekbones and brow bone. You can also highlight your forehead and chin.

PRIMER: Just like you prime a wall before you paint it, you can prime your face before you apply foundation. Primers work much like a moisturizer, they ease the application of foundation and are meant to create a barrier between foundation and skin.

FOUNDATION: Foundation is a skin-colored makeup that is applied to the face to help cover up minor blemishes, create a uniform complexion and, sometimes, to slightly alter the shade of the skin. Alternatively, body paint is similar make up intended for the rest of the body.
Foundation can come in liquid, cream or powder form, and can be oil based, oil free or water based. Generally, you should try to match your foundation to the type of skin you have (your undertone), using it to compensate for either an oily or a dry complexion. They can have light, medium or full coverage.

-full coverage will give you a flawless appearance ( great for a lot of blemishes to hide)

medium coverage is evens out skin tone and can be add again over blemishes to hide them ( great for people who occasionally get a pimple and who want to have an even toned appearance to their skin)

light coverage is a barely there tint to the face ( perfect for girls with just about flawless skin)
CONCEALER: Concealer is much more opaque than foundation. It is generally liquid or cream. Concealer is used in only small areas of the face such as on blemishes, scars, or underneath the eyes (to cover dark circles).

So basically,First you apply primer. Then foundation(You can use a brush, fingers or sponge). Then Concealer to cover up your blemishes or dark circles. And to set it,you can use a translucent powder or setting spray. And you highlight to define your face,on your nose bridge, brow bone, cupids bow, and forehead!
