This is a repost. I have to go to a funeral typed thing tomorrow, and I'm not sure how I should wear my makeup. Please help, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
My only request is please don't say winged eyeliner!

I'd go simple, maybe natural eyeshadow with some smoked out liner and lots of mascara or fake lashes, then a nude lip.

Less makeup is the best make up for those kind of events I am sorry btw

I really wouldn't wear any makeup :/ maybe light mascara, dark lip, bb cream, and pull your hair back.

Cassandra, it's fine it happened last year. In Judaism we reveal the tombstone a year after the funeral; its called the unveiling. Thanks for your suggestions, and Kimberly I don't wear my hair back ever but thank you.

Go for a natural "pink" look. Have a pinkish (natural) lipstick. Natural looking rouge. Light mascara.

I don't wear pink but thank you Barbra :)

I would say natural. I just find it more respectful for those types of events, But that's just personal prefence. I would wear a champagne on the lid and a light matte brown in the crease. if your going Robert eyeliner make sure it is water proof in case you get emotional, same with mascara. I also like a slight Berry lip, something that looks pretty natural But is still very classy.

Lol I understood. Crying isn't likely though, like I said it isn't really a funeral.

I agree with the rest of the girls a natural look would be best and a natural lip color would look good too.

No, like I said it's not a funeral. I would like to look nice, it's only my immediate family, and it's a year after the funeral. Yes, I am worried about makeup, because it's easier to worry about makeup than to cry about the death.

Thanks for all of the advice, ladies. It's already over, the whole thing took about 20 minutes.
