They might remove it if they check and find it offensive, but probably nothing will happen. I've normally flagged posts like stolen photos or rude comments, but sometimes I flag things that I think are ridiculous also, and those tend to stay.

Oh yea no we can't flag people, I asked Alma about that... we can't flag people or pictures, we have to send a like to the pic or person to the bl team.

They will look at what you have flagged and decide if it is worth the flag but everything should be fine.I'm a bit confused Sabrina I don't remember ever saying don't flag a pic or comment,you may have to refresh my memory but if anything it's encouraged to flag a comment or picture if it's inappropriate and send a link of the page to Beautylish or contact me or jackie.

Hm maybe it was another moderator Alma, I'm not sure :) I was thought it was you! And what I said was that we couldn't flag a picture or person but we should send a link to the BL team with the picture or person :)

I just think it's ridiculous!! No one ever listens when we tell them that that doesn't work. I know it makes no sense to flag it it's just my way of marking things I think shouldn't be said. Idk I'm weird for sure.

You can only flag if it's inappropriate lol I get that lash growth thing been voicing that for years and thank goodness Jackie finally made a thread about it awhile back since we have discussed that and many other subjects of makeup myths forever lol but flagging information you don't like doesn't help here,you need to voice it and explain why with your information.

Yes if it doesn't follow the guidelines here for Beautylish you can flag if you have the option on your app to do so or feel free to flag on the site.

Hey guys,
Alma is right -- sometimes people even confuse the flag button with "liking" something and we here at Beautylish just ignore the flag and everything goes on as normal.
As Alma also mentioned, there will always be "ridiculous" beauty secrets, myths and trends. Sometimes these are great conversation starters. We generally won't delete these ;)
As for the flag button on the app, right now it's only on iPhones but we hope to get it on Android devices soon too. You can always shoot me an email directly to alicia@beautylish.com or to customer service at help@beautylish.com if you need to flag something from your non iOS device.
