Whenever I wear the mascara, it ALWAYS weighs down my lashes, kills the curl, and clumps. Could I be doing something wrong?

It might just not be a great mascara. Try another brand and see if you still have the same problem.

Just use on coat of of maybelline's mascara.

Keep the mascara on the roots of the lash and not the ends.
