It really depends on your skin type. I have sensative dry skin & I was using it for 3 months & it just wasnt making any changes in my skin.. plus it has a weird smell that I didnt like but everyones skin is different & all skins react differently to the product..

It didn't work for my sister but I don't know if its because she has really bad acne.

Didn't work for me either.. I had horrible acne in my teens and ended up on Acutane for a year

I've never used it, but I've heard mixed things. The deal with a lot of those drugstore shelf products is that they will work for certian people but not always for everyone, so you may have to try a few before you find one that works.

I have personally never used it but did consider buying it. I have been reading a lot of reviews and only a few have seen some sort of improvement. That kinda proves that it may not be reliable as they make it seem on TV. It's up to you I guess, it may or may not work for you.

The first time I used it it worked great. Stop using after a while to save $. Tried it again a yr later and it was so harsh and terrible. It made me soooo crusty and dry and didn't help my face at all. It's basically a scrub, a toner and a hi dose acne cream. Your much better off finding something better for the skin and sticking with it. There isn't a magic solution to acne. It's about taking care of your skin every day and every night.

Like Jackie said it depends on the individual. When I turned 30 after never having problems with my skin except the once a month pimple or two on my chin suddenly I was getting more pimples nothing serious but I didn't like it. I used Proactiv for a couple years and absolutely loved it! I didn't even get the once a month pimple. My experience was great.

I have to agree with the ladies on here. I think it all depends on the person. I used proactive when I was in HS, but then started breaking out after I graduated while still using it. My dermatologist told me like with all products your skin can become immune to it. Everybody is different, so I suggest trying it out.

My aunt used it and her face cleared but when she stopped she broke out again but worse. And it bleached her towels she used to wipe her face after.

No doesn't work. Never seen not one bit of improvement. If you join online they will automatically send you the kits and withdraw money from your account. Be careful with that.

It works wonders for me! I've had really bad acne since I was in middle school and I've tried everything. Proactiv, honestly was the only thing that did it for me. It's not too harsh on my skin. I don't buy it off their website because I don't want to be put on the auto pay. I just buy it off amazon, and it's cheaper :)

I agree everyone is different but I've never met one person in real life that it's worked on,
I personally used it for 6 months and it did nothing for my acne.

It works but ppl dnt understand you break out first because it gets all the bacteria out of your face for like about 3/6 months ull b breaking out n slowly you'll start seeing your face clear :) I haven't broken out since then and that was like 4 years ago and I've stopped using it but I guess it depends on everyone's skin type but if your going to try it I recommend that you have a lot of patience

Yes, but you have to keep using it or your acne will come back if you stop.

That whole your face needs to breakout thing isn't true...
I believed that when I first really got into skincare..
But I've used plenty of products that have cleared up skin without causing it to flare up in breakouts first.

I wouldn't recommend it, my cousin used it and her face still looks bumpy (sorry cousin) but yeah don't mess with it. The stuff in it will irritate your face and don't dare use it then stop!!... A dermatologist told me that.

I use Proactiv+ and it's amazing!! Works wonders for me.

It worked for me as a teen when it first came out. Everyone has different skin, but I used it routinely and my skin responded well. However, after a while, it was not as effective. Like a year later. My skin went thru hormonal changes or it grew "immune" to it. I still like the sulphur mask to this day. It really helps breakouts!

I used it for a about a month & it really dried out my skin BUT it actually worked for me, now my skin is really clear but after I use Proactiv I have to put on a lot of moisturizer because my skin got so dry.
