Rubbing it with baking soda helps me usually (: cheap and it'll make your skin so soft. Masks and peels help a lot for that too. Biore pore strips work great for ones on your nose, also.

First, if it's within your budget, invest in a Clarisonic. It works with sonic vibrations to loosen blackheads. Second, try to use a cleanser with salicylic acid, which will get deep into your pores and dissolve the dirt that causes blackheads. Third, try pore strips. Everyone says they're bad, they rip off the top layer of your skin, etc. but I've never had a problem with them, they work really well on my nose (not so well on my forehead). And finally, go get facials once a month. Estheticians are actually trained to get all the gunk out of your pores and make your skin glow, and they're great at offering tips and advice for you to use on your own.

Try a clay mask, the Aztec Indian healing clay works great. You can mix it with raw apple cider vinegar or aloe to lower the ph (it tells you on the directions) and add a lil raw honey for some moisture. Don't rub baking soda on your face 😣 if you want a mild exfoliant, use brown rice flour instead.

You could buy an extraction tool from the drugstore. Steam your clean face for at least 5 mins, and start extracting the clogged pores. Its important that you look up how to use the extraction tool properly though, you don't want to make your skin worse. Clay masks are also really great when used regularly.

I have combination skin. I try to use all natural products and I've tried using extractors, but it made my skin breakout soooo bad!

Extraction and regular exfoliation makes such a difference. A clay mask, such as Origin's charcoal mask is great. Queen Helene's mint mask is a cheaper alternative, too. If you can afford facials on a monthly basis, your esthetician can properly extract for you. I see that has been previously recommended and I totally agree. If you decide to extract for yourself, just look into learning how to properly do it as to not harm your skin.

Don't use an extractor...I was literally just watching videos from a medical esthetician the other day and because of the angle you really cannot do a proper extraction on yourself. You need to really be looking down on the area to be able to see 100% what is in the clogged pore and to make sure its out. If you don't get it all out it will reinfect the area and you also risk driving it deeper down into the skin. Once it gets so far down it cannot be extracted at all and the body has to get rid of it on it's own which can take a while. The only thing I recommend for at home "extraction" is a Clarisonic. It can easily unclog a majority of pores, gently without damaging the skin. But if its really, really bad and you think you need an extraction go to the dermatogist or to a certified esthetician or medical esthetician.

YOU NEED TO EXFOLIATE.
