I love MAC & ELF. ELF is so affordable and I have no complaints about any of the brushes I've purchased. I'm a MAC lover so I tend to get suckered in :)

Louise Young and Hakuhodo because they are feather soft, but stiff enough to do what they need to do... MAC is my third runner-up because they do what they're supposed to do, but not all of their brushes are as soft as I'd like them to be. Sigma's synthetic face kit comes in 4th place for me, because I can't live without my f80... And Real Techniques and Ecotools brushes come in last as my fav affordable brand of synthetic brushes.
ELF brushes are ok, great for beginners, but not something that stayed with me long. I gave those brushes to my bf's little sister to learn with them.

^LOLOLOL! I know... I've been salivating over them since they were released! I think I might attend IMATS just to play with them and purchase if I fall in love... but I'm waiting on some friends to finalize travel plans before it's set in concrete. =/

I love my Eco Tools brushes. They're inexpensive and super soft and do not shed at all. I love their dome shaped brush and their big blending brush...it makes creating a seamless look so easy!

I love Real Techniques, but ELF is a good 'cheap' brand too...though it tends to have a lot of fallout.
