I have been suffering from really bad acne for a while now, and it's starting to get a lot better, and i've been using maybelline dream matte foundation to try and keep my skin as matte as possible but it's not really working and my skins been ending up all blotchy.
I also have really pale skin and all foundations are too dark!:(
Please help!

I agree. Neutrogena is definitely the way to go. All of their products are super gentle, and good for the skin. I'm not sure these foundations could be considered matte, but I would just set it with a powder. That's what you could do to make sure your makeup doesn't get blotchy. Also maybe try a primer before you apply your foundation.

Is it the oil from your skin that is breaking down the makeup and causing the blotchiness? I can't say I'm familar with dream matte mouse but I can imagine a mouse consistancy to be ideal for oily ance prone skin. Maybe try using milk of magnesia to prime your skin before makeup and soak up all the oil. This will give a matte cavas to apply the mouse. Also, I don't know what's available to you in scotland but Shiseido has very pale foundations shades...might want to try to get your hands on that.
