My tip of the week: for natural nails never use a cardboard nail file. We may as well use sandpaper on your nails. It shaves the nail. If you look closely you can see filings of the nail and not a clean edge. The best file to use is a crystal or glass nail file they are the best. You can one at any Sally's Beauty. Leaves no frayed edges gives you professional looking nails. This file can be washed and lasts a very long time. I have had mine now for 6 months and just love it. Please leave me a comment if you do purchase one. Would like to see how others like this.

Although i got mine from a completely different source, I agree - glass files are the best!

I've been using a glass file for almost 2 years, and would never go back to cardboard! highly recommended.

How does it feel on your nails? I never file my nails unless absolutely necessary because cardboard files set my teeth on edge.

It feels wonderful. There are no shavings. Gives a nice clean look. Always go in one direction with the file. You will never use a cardboard file again.
