Although this is a lovely project, I don't feel like used makeup should be shared, even if it's barely used. You can never be quite sure it's properly sanitised. Despite that, I love the sound of this project and I'll have a look to see if I have any unopened and unused stuff I can donate.

It's a wonderful idea. I've sanitized and donated on many occasions to a local women's shelter and they are delighted to have cosmetic donations new and gently used, aside from mascara, which must be unused, always. I know Tati also donates some tested purchases to help women's charities.
Make up artists clean and use cosmetics every day in the industry. Alcohol works wonders and if one doesn't feel comfortable sharing something gently used, they are delighted to receive samples and new goods that have gone unused in the drawer.

Love this! I throw out so much makeup that I've just gotten tired of and don't have space for. I know if I didn't have the money I wouldn't care if it was used or not! Especially if I couldn't afford it! Thank you!
