So those are my gross toe nails in the photo below...Lol. I don't know why they look like this. they are kind of yellow and almost look like they are deterioratint or something. This has been happening for about 2 years I would say and I take a hair skin and nails vitamin and I clean them and take care of my nails regularly and no matter what I do they always look like this underneath polish...I literally always have to have my nails painted because they look so gross without paint covering it up. So any of you have this issue? Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? 😱😱😱🎅

Honestly it looks like a nail fungus :/ But that is pretty easy to treat I heard! I believe you can buy a product kinda like a clear polish that will clear that right up!

Sabrina, yeah that's what my mom said before but I've tried that polish before and medications for it and it doesn't go away. lol. it literally looks and feels like if my nail is peeling off or something. it's so weird.

Do you have a job where you walk a lot or wear panty hose? I have it to and I've tried everything I'm a cocktail waitress in vegas for 17 years and my toe nails are terrible, the often become ingrown as well. plus I have diabetes so that does not help. If you find a solution please let me know thanks (:

I'd definitely see a Dr, if you have tried fungal treatments that haven't helped then maybe you have a more underlying health condition which can only be diagnosed by a dr.

If topical antifungals haven't worked, you might need a prescription. I've got the same issue, but my stupid insurance won't pay for the medication. Definitely see a doctor and get a proper diagnosis.

I had toe nail fungus for probably over 5 years. I still have it but it's no where near as bad and I wear sandals a lot more too. Mine was to point where they were really thick and would fall off. I went to the doctors and got topical treatment which helped a lot especially with the discolouration but then stopped. I filed the top of my nail (not just the part where you trim but the entire nail) about once a week to get the thickness down and now I've been doing a foot soak of water and vinegar and using a nail fungus gel. My nails are so much brighter!
